But a new degree, the bachelor of arts in liberal studies, was recently approved, allowing Waggett and other students to craft their own degrees by earning three minor concentrations, with at least 10 hours of study in each, rather than the conventional plan of 20 credit hours in their major and 10 hours in their minor.
