So there is a generic version available for the Epipen? If it is not still under any kind of patent protection, and others can make an epinephrine injector - are the ones mentioned above acceptable, safe alternatives? If so why aren’t they more readily used?
As noted above, another company makes an automatic injector for epinephrine and sells it under the name Adrenaclick or generic for about 1/4 the price of EpiPen.
However, some other competitors like Twinject have been discontinued.
