<p>Hi, I am new to this site and wanted to introduce myself. I have been married to DH for 19 years now and we have 5 children. Our oldest (S1) is a junior, D1 and D2 are twins and are freshman, s2 is in seventh grade, and D3 is in sixth. Our house iss basically always busy with family oor friends and theres always some place we have to be, since S1, D1, D2, and S2 play baseball (D3 does ballet). Just wanted to introduce myself to all the other mom’s and say hi!</p>

<p>Sounds like a nice family, there. I’m a college student, but I spend most of my CC time on the parenting boards. Feel free to ignore my parenting advice for that reason. 
People tend to be nice, but you may want to avoid the religious discussions in the cafe. They can get vicious. </p>

Go to any main page that has the list of all the threads in that section. If you want to post in this section, go up to the top of the page and click on “Parent Cafe”. That will take you to the main page of all the Parent Cafe threads. Then look for a white rectangular box located in the top left of the list of threads (just below the featured threads). It has a CC logo in red and blue. It says “new thread”. Click on that. That should do it! Hope this helps.</p>

<p>Hi, NMom. Welcome to CC and annoying people like me who abbreviate screen names. If your D3 is serious about ballet as college approaches (you’ve got a few years, even by my schedule), there are several ballet parents around here whose brains you can pick. Mine took lessons K-12 and was dancing 18-20 hours per week by 11th and 12th grades.</p>
<p>thanks for the advice. D3 is quite serious about ballet and has been doing it since k as well, so I will keep that in mind.</p>
