<p>I saw him walking around campus (coming out of Annenberg Hall) last week. It was a weird moment, but I pseudo-waved/smiled and he smiled back at me.</p>
<p>Bienen always did the same. Anytime I saw him I’d say “hi”, not because he knew me but because I knew him. He’d usually respond with a similar response. Glad to see Schapiro is a real person, too.</p>
<p>Schapiro was an exceptional choice, and a real coup for NU. Williams is in mourning.</p>
<p>Lucky for NU that the guy is hooked on the color purple.</p>
<p>Yea, coming from a purple institution and liking purple definitely help his likability factor. He’s also big on expanding access to a top education to people of lower socioeconomic backgrounds.</p>

<p>I have a senior D at Williams and a sophomore S at NU and am thrilled to see Morty at NU (although I would have liked for him to stay at Williams through D’s senior year). I introduced myself when I saw him at the Alamo Bowl and he knew D’s name, her position on the softball team, her high school, etc. An amazing person who really gets involved with the students.</p>
