<p>I really can’t find fault in any young person looking ahead and buying a retirement type property. On average after expenses most homes ( I know there’s always exceptions) provide a steady bond like return on investment. In other words, it’s a fairly safe bet, provided you can sit on it and are not forced into sale at a bad time.</p>
<p>As a friend says, “Buy land. They’re not making it anymore.”</p>
