<p>I’ll bet Buffet pays far more dollars in taxes than his secretary so I don’t see your point.</p>

<p>The masses want social security, medicare, universal health care, etc. and as we age those issues are going to the forefront. The republicans are on the wrong side of these issues.</p>

It just amazes me how ungrateful people are to those who are paying far more taxes than them thereby lowering their own tax burden yet complain that those people aren’t paying even more.</p>

<p>Actually, people who pay employees cash “under the table” to get the job done cheap are criminals, whether their employees are “legal workers” or not. Every bit as much of a criminal as a guy who doesn’t file his return.</p>

<p>Wrong. The tax laws have very specific thresholds for subjecting individuals who hire household help to withholding rules. But an individual is never excused from filing required returns and paying required taxes.</p>
