New SAT requirements for colleges

Can someone enlighten me about the new SAT score needed to be eligible for the following colleges?

Cornell University
Penn State
NYU Engineering
University of Texas-Austin
Texas A&M-College station.

At this point in time, collegeboard has not released any concordance tables that show the equivalency of the old SAT test and new one. However, those schools are great so I’d expect that you need at least a 1400/1600. With so many people doing well on the new PSAT, I can only imagine that score being higher.

Im in the same boat as you buddy, it sucks to be the guinea pig for collegeboard.

@Chowder69 Unless those universities had those requirements in the past, there is usually no SAT or ACT score needed simply in order to be eligible for admission. However my best guess is that average scores of admitted students would be similar to those in the past, per section.

However you should look at whether the colleges require the new SAT with writing, or whether they don’t require the writing part.
