<p>I am taking the May SAT Biology E/M. I am also taking the AP Bio exam in May. AP Bio has a revised, less memorization based curriculum this year. However, in my 3rd edition Barron’s prep book for the SATII, subjects like Taxonomy are included, which are no longer taught in AP Bio. Since both tests are written by CollegeBoard, should I assume the subject test will change its scope as well?</p>
<p>This is the first year of the new test, nobody really knows what to expect. Study the Barron’s book for SAT II Bio, and consider yourself over prepared for the AP test. Studying only for the AP test had me at the high 400’s for Bio M Subject test, but I just cram-memorized from Barron’s, etc. and got my scores up to consistent 700’s within around 2 weeks.</p>
