<p>As the title of this post would suggest, i am applying to the New School for Jazz (transfer from a University BM program) and am unclear as to the guitar prescreening requirements they have. I am using the non ekomi application (CD with live accompaniment) and saw that one of the requirements is a (possibly solo) chord melody. If performed as a solo, should this have a chorus of improvised solo? or does it to just improvise on the accompanied selections; especially because my arrangement (which is actually my arrangement) has quite a few embelishments to the melody and is mildly improvisational to begin with. If anyone has personal experience with this, or with a situation like this, help would be greatly appreciated.</p>
