New School Info Pages

For a while now at CC, we’ve been linking to our sister site, CollegeView.com, for detailed school info. CollegeView has lots of factual and statistical information about schools, and is a great complement to our less structured discussion here.

Now, for the first time in years, the CollegeView school pages have undergone a dramatic redesign. All the stats are still there (look for the School Facts tab), but we’ve added dynamic content from around the web, links to online applications and ways to connect with the school (e.g., their Facebook fan page), student profiles, and more. Here are a few examples:

[The University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa, Alabama](Best Colleges - Rankings, Statistics & Data - CollegeStats.org)
[Columbia University - New York, New York](Best Colleges - Rankings, Statistics & Data - CollegeStats.org)
[Indiana University Bloomington - Bloomington, Indiana](<a href=“Best Colleges - Rankings, Statistics & Data - CollegeStats.org”>Best Colleges - Rankings, Statistics & Data - CollegeStats.org)

You’ll find links to these pages on our school forum pages, on [CampusVibe™[/url], and when you find schools at [url=http://www.collegeconfidential.com/college_search/]SuperMatch™ College Search](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/vibe/).

Pretty slick.

some info about the admissions rates seem to be a little outdated

Nice layout. For Alabama, it says the SAT I is optional and the ACT is required - and it looks like the scholarship pages are not done yet. Still a work in progress?

I had trouble figuring out how to get info on one college and not a comparison. I eventually figured it out but it was unclear.
