So, Deerfield, Groton, Hotchkiss, Lawrenceville, PA, PEA, St. Paul’s, and Taft are piloting a shared Candidate Profile. Which one should submit, before scheduling interviews. However, it’s not ready yet, so wait until September.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, my middle child’s already requested material from several of the above named schools. Candidate Profiles were likely submitted.

Does anyone have a best guess as to how to proceed? Will duplicate Candidate Profiles be a problem? Is the shared Candidate Profile system already functioning, or will it be up and running in the fall?

I don’t think they will drastically change the application. They might just add a question or remove one. They had the same thing this past admission season with the shared profile

Andover probably just doesn’t want someone to complete the application now, and send it in already.

The form you fill out when requesting info is not the same as the candidate profile. You’ll have to do new ones when your student knows where to apply. Remember, the profile asks all those questions about where the parents went to college, siblings, legacies, etc.
