I give your son points for trying to keep costs down, mine aren’t as concerned with my wallet! I wish more young people understood that supporting the Chinese economy (and therefore their military and their govt, and hurting our companies) is something we should avoid when possible.
Well, as I said, this is an experiment and we will see how it goes. Have read of people very disappointed with trying to reach customer service. When we give our kids the ability to make a choice, we honor the choice they make and all try to see how it works out.
We support the Chinese economy by buying Apple products made in China as well, as well as countless other products.
