Just got my ACT back today and I improved to a Composite 34 (35 Science, 34 English, 30 Reading, 36 Math). I’ll be applying to engineering schools so hopefully the Math and Science scores will make it look even better. I’m top 10% of class and am well rounded outside of the classroom. NHS, some community service, baseball, football, clubs, and some other stuff. Assuming I can write fairly decent essays, what kind of schools could I look to be considering?
Some I am already interested in include: Purdue, UT (in-state, automatically in), Texas A&M (same as UT), Clemson, Georgia (but no E-school), Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, UNC, and Virginia. UVA is my top choice still, but with a 34 instead of 31 now, might I be able to look at some new schools like Northwestern or Duke? Or does anybody have other suggestions? As I said previously, I want a big-school atmosphere and engineering or something else technical to go along with business.

Also, as UVA will always be my top choice, how much will this 34 help me?

Thanks
