Hi, I’ve just been accepted to fsu for the fall 2008 term (as a junior) and was wondering if someone can do both honors in the major and a double major or only one. Also, if anyone knows what the best apartments/dorms for upper-division students are…I’m trying to figure out the best living conditions…Thanks.

I believe you can do both, but I suggest you should first get used to the university system which is considerably different from community college, if that is where you completed your AA requirements. You can work yourself into academic probation if you don’t use caution in selecting a work load.

The university General Bulletin will guide you into what is allowed: [Florida State University Registrar](<a href=“FSU Registrar | Error 404 page not found”>http://registrar.fsu.edu/bulletin/undergrad/)

Honors in the Major may be found here: [Florida State University Registrar](<a href=“FSU Registrar | Error 404 page not found”>FSU Registrar | Error 404 page not found)

As to the best upper-division dorms, probably Ragans Hall ([Florida State University Housing - Undergraduate Housing - Ragans Hall](http://www.housing.fsu.edu/housing/ungrad/ragans.html)) and McCollum Hall ([Florida State University Housing - Undergraduate Housing - McCollum Hall](http://www.housing.fsu.edu/housing/ungrad/mccollum.html)) are preferred.

P.S. Welcome to the Tribe!! :)

Congrats on your acceptance to FSU! We have heard a lot of positive feedback from upperclassmen in regard to Ragans. My daughter is starting this fall and will most likely be living in Landis for honors, but plans to eventually live in Ragans (apartment style living dorm).

oh, that would be great to do both…I already have two majors in mind. Also, thank-you…I’m very happy to be part of the tribe!
