This is a Steinhardt thing: I was just wondering how important is this class and the book we have to read? We have to write a journal entry for each chapter, so do we get a grade in this class? I just found out about this because I was out of the country for the summer, so is it a really big deal or not really at all?

Like do I have to read this book and do the journals seriously, or can I just scan it and not really do the journals?

NSS is a GRADUATION REQUIREMENT. It is pass/fail. You will not graduate if you fail the class. It’s zero credits. It’s pointless, but it doesn’t last the whole semester. It lasts for about two months. Sometimes there are interesting classes, like learning about study abroad or internships or Wasserman.

I would just wing it and write SOMETHING for the book. At least if you can show you tried, they might give you an extension.

haha okay thanks, thats all i needed to know
