New TABS Website and TAB Asia Fairs

TABS has a new website [The Association of Boarding Schools - TABS](Consider our Boarding Schools in US and Canada | BoardingSchools.com) I like the new distance search function. It’s nicer than their old info which was basically hardcopy converted for the web, but with little interactivity. Even with the upgrades, I still think boardingschoolreview, if it were realiable, is a better source because it includes the things most people want to know – like average SSAT, college matriculation, student reviews, acceptance rate, etc. Anyway, the new TABS web is an improvement, and they did take advantage of the latest graphic capabilities.

For those of you in Asia, take a look at the upcoming TABS Asia Fairs http://www.boardingschools.com/find-a-school/explore-your-options/asia-fairs.aspx</a>. The schools attending list is probably no complete at this point.

I looked at the school info in more detail, and I was pleased to see that they are including the mid-50% range of SAT’s and some info on college matriculation. That is a big improvement from the old database.

The new website is AWSOME… I love when people change their websites.

I only just now realized that in addition to the re-designed site (great job, I think), they changed to a new web address. Do NOT visit [Top Online Schools & Campus Programs | Schools.com](http://www.schools.com) anymore, be sure to visit [The Association of Boarding Schools - TABS](http://www.boardingschools.com).
