<p>I just received this from Brooklyn college about Out of state and In-state fees. </p>
<p>“Out of state tuition is approximately $12,700 for the first year. After that a student can file for in state tuition after living in NYC for 1 year.”</p>
<p>Is this true? Does a student become in-state after first year? This is not how CA treats In-state residency.</p>
