Anyone Tandon computer engineering admits?
We filed SRAR (Self Reported Academic Record) on the portal a few days after submitting the application early January. For Grade 12, all grades were reported as âIP - In Progressâ.
This week, grade 12 first-semester grades became available and the high school sent the mid-year report to NYU. The portal shows NYU received âTranscript - High School Mid Year (Official)â.
Do we still need to go back to the portal and update SRAR for 12th grade first-semester grades ourselves?
Anybody have any hints on decision date for RD? It looks like March..Just hoping early over late!
Same thing happened to me, I emailed my school guidance counselor that one of my schools was requesting my mid-year grades and she sent them to all of my schools.
I would suggest that if you had half-year courses (classes lasting one semester), to update those grades as those are now completed. For example, I took Economics fall semester at my school and I got an 88 quarter 1 & 93 quarter 2 and they averaged that out and that went on my mid-year transcript. I updated my SRAR today to reflect that 91. But all my current full-year courses and my other two half-years are still listed as âin progressâ.
Iâm a student though, whether you trust me or not is alright. Just providing my perspective.

My son did the same thing. Even though his high school sent in mid year grades, he also updated his mid year grades in SRAR. Might as well cross all the Ts and dot all the Is and not give them any reason for delays.

Doesnât NYU typically release on Ivy Day? Or am I making that up? Not sure, but in last yearâs thread at around 4pm EST on March 28 waitlists started rolling out.

Is anyone else here applying under the Opportunity Programs (OP)?
Per the NYU website, it looks like April 1 is the RD decision date. Just wondering if NYU ever releases decisions earlier than the date posted on their website?
Yes, my S23 found out on March 28, and I believe NYU does give you a heads up that theyâre releasing decisions, because I have it in my calendar (meaning I put it in there because I knew ahead of time). They are traditionally very late in the admissions cycle. Hope this helps and good luck!

I would strongly suggest people do not enter their login info in that url. It does not seem affiliated with NYU as it has a random .com url.
Its a legit website that a ton of universities use.
