From what I’ve heard this is a good sign…schools normally add 2FA after the student has been admitted.

oh, it’s not an email. i randomly got asked it when i tried logging onto the nyu portal. i thought it was related to the hack we had but a lot of people don’t have it.

not sure why it duplicated.
But NYU uses 2FA-- they’ve used 2FA well before the hack… (link: Multi-Factor Authentication and Duo)

Yes and no.
Steps: Go to albert.nyu.edu → go to the Finances tab on the left → press Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and you should get an error → press ‘OK’ to close the error, then press the ‘Home’ button → let it take you to the Homepage → on the top right there is a compass icon, click it → click “menu” → scroll to “NYU - Hidden” → go to “NYU Student Self Service - Hidden” → press the “Finances - Hidden” folder → and you’re there!!
From what’s been said in this thread, most people have everything except for “Get Bursar Amount”. I have it, check upthread for the screenshot.
