New York University Class of 2029 Official RD Thread

good luck to everyone here who (a): is committing to NYU – congrats! #violets2029
(b): is waiting on the ivies (!!) – you’ve got this!
(c): done with the college process – congrats! you did it! i’m proud of you <3
(d): waitlisted at a bunch of schools – it will come through! I don’t know where (as I can’t predict the future) but there is a school out there for you!
{e}: eventually commit to the college that they love the most

I enjoyed the roller coaster of NYU portal astrology!! We’re a part of CC history now, and I feel bad for the Class of 2030 when they see this thread and all the times we’ve been duped.

I hope everyone does well in their future <3

NYU has sent offers of admission to its future Class of 2029. Offers of admission to NYU’s New York campus were made to just 7.7% of the more than 120,000 students who applied to become members of next fall’s entering undergraduate class…
Three of NYU’s undergraduate colleges—the College of Arts and Science, the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and the Rory Meyers College of Nursing—offered admission to fewer than 5% of applicants.

Hi everyone, I was waitlisted during the ed2 round. When filling out the waitlist form, do I have a higher chance of getting in if I select I don’t need financial aid? Or it doesn’t matter.

I mean, if you need financial aid to attend, don’t say you don’t. Your chances are definitely higher if you don’t need financial aid, but probably not by much.
