I know last year about 12.1k students applied NYU ed1. acceptance rate was near 15-22%. What do you guys think it will be this year?
less people should be applying because of the recession in 2008 there is overall a lower population of students applying to college this year. But we can’t say specifically in NYU case.
Also international students sorry for you but you might be cooked because NYU has one of the highest intl student population and they def have to decrease that because of the student visa restrictions. So it should be easier for domestic?? maybe we can’t really say that either.
That doesn’t mean NYU will accept less intls lol, it means that intls that are accepted will find it harder to get to the U.S perhaps…NYU hasn’t been targeted by the Trump administration like other U.S unis (his son goes there)
i’ve seen people on tiktok talking about international students in general and that nyu will get affected
if they know less intl will be able to go they will ofc decrease their amount. And yeah they have been targeted. You can’t blame just trump (not saying I support him in any way) but there are papers online talking about how NYU will be one of the most affected. Just cause his son goes there doesn’t mean that its safe sadly
so what does it say for people who are able to send emails to their nyu email? has it bounced back yet?
