New York University Early Decision Class of 2030 Official Thread

yes

i can get in

WAIT is it housing.nyu.edu? that gives the no applications?

nvm I thought I was on to something

can u see accept decline on the same page as before

I also can log into this app.

Anything available only to students does not become available just because you have an offer; you would have to accept the offer and pay the enrollment deposit first. So this is unlikely to mean anything.

Everyone seriously needs to take a breath. None of us knows anything about portal astrology, and at this point we are all just guessing. It is the blind leading the blind. We do not control the portal, the timing, or the rumors people think are signs. What we do control is where we put our energy.

We still have other applications to work on, schoolwork to focus on, and goals that matter beyond this moment. Put your attention there. NYU will make its decision no matter how many times we refresh the page.

If you get in, that is your path opening. If you do not, it is not a failure. It means you are being guided toward a different route where you will grow, improve, and come back stronger. Every path works out exactly the way it needs to, even when you cannot see it yet.

So breathe, stay grounded, and focus on what you can actually control. The rest will fall into place.

does anyone have any new indicators?

where do you see both accept and decline?

its in SAP, home, nyu-hidden, and student self service hidden

I’m ngl, I feel like I have a sign of admission but I can deff be overthinking it. Last month around November 16th or 17th, I accidentally sent NYU an application information update form in the portal for test scores because I wanted to see if I could remove science from my official score report. I was also simultaneously emailing NYU’s admissions email to get further clarification and they said that NYU superscores with & without science to just use whatever is higher. Anyways, since I accidentally submitted that information request form, I’ve heard absolutely nothing. Neither confirmation nor rejection of the request to alter test scores. For context, I submitted a 35 ACT Superscore. Does this mean that in the case they didn’t accept/reject my request, it means I was already accepted into NYU and the Admisssions OPS had nothing to approve/reject? Or am I most likely just overthinking. What do you guys think?

nah they just don’t reply. i send some too.

They don’t reply to the application info update forms?

yeah ngl
and also not to be a hater with that same logic they could have rejected you and didn’t look at it. idk i would just consider it as neutral

Yeah I thought about that too but I felt they would’ve approved it bc maybe they thought I had a different test like the SAT to put instead.

its kinda funny that this will be the forum that rd 2030 kids and 2031 ed kids will be frantically checking in the future
