New York University Early Decision Class of 2030 Official Thread

I submitted a 1500 to lsc with some 4s and 5s

This is exactly what I keep telling people lol I really hope there are less people

Fyi from her experience: maybe not as “vibey” as one might expect freshman year on the NYC campus to be, but the classes and social programming were excellent, and because it’s a smaller cohort it’s not as socially difficult as some have found the main campus to be. She remains close friends with her group from there. And DC is a fabulous city to spend a year in.

Good luck to all of you!

Has anyone gotten the email form NYU yet??

On our portal it says that we would receive an email

I think as long as ur essays r decent then ur good. tandon is wayyyy les competitive than stern

What is CoA? Is it cost of attendance? And where do you see that? I saw people talking about this in last years thread but no link. I didn’t apply for financial aid though. And I am stern :smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear:

Yeah I don’t think it shows if u didn’t apply for fin aid

Please don’t say that :sob::sob::sob: I’m stern :confounded_face::confounded_face:

are you intl? intl+no aid should be an easy acceptance :joy:

I submitted 32 ACT but math was my highest at a 34 so hopefully that’s good for stern

Yeah I hope so. That’s the idea I was getting when I decided to apply ED to Tandon. I think my ECs and common app essay is pretty unique. But My supplemental may be a bit generic, talking about game development

Should be okay, I think stern emphasizes on GPA more though according to common data set

Nope I am domestic + no aid

But I am like 99% sure I am the only ED student from my school. And VERY VERY less people from my state. But my gpa is horrible so I feel like I won’t get innnnnn

That’s even more cooked. But my extra curricular are good I promise. I have very good spike and intern with NYU professor who is also a Nobel laureate.

what it is? im kinda worried cuz i need a lotttt of aid

Anyone applied stern? I am a dual US citizen, attend an international private school in Palestine/ Israel. I have a 4.0 UW gpa(my school doesnt offer weighted gpas), top 5% of my class. I have excellent ECs(Organized a fundraizer that helped in humanitarian crises, chaired in model UN conferences, training officer in a regional youth program, and more..). Wrote my common app essay about control and leadership. My NYU supplamental was about my experience in bringing cultures together, teamwork and leadership. I self studied 2 aps though my school didnt offer them (got a 5 and a 4). Very strong rec letters where I was praised for independence, growth, intellectual curiosity. What do u think my chances are?

haha me too I’m the only one that applied Ed from my school
