Does anyone know if decisions are released all at the same time or throughout the day at different times?

Shouldn’t it have changed by now? ED1 was changing as early as a week before.

netID@stern.nyu.edu. For me, it did not redirect to a google login or NYU login so it is a rejection for sure (they create stern emails ~1 week before release). If it does redirect, it is an acceptance. Good luck to the rest of you!

I heard indicators start showing once the two buttons about - “Updating” vanish.

I heard that too. It’s just odd that buttons haven’t started vanishing for people. Do you think decisions just aren’t finalized yet?

that’s what confusing me too, these buttons should had disappeared last week or atleast today. They even let me change my ED2 to RD last Friday. I thought they’d say it’s not possible now as decision date is very close

Yeah and the ability to still withdraw an application is weird too. Just curious, whyd you switch to rd?

It was difficult for me to pay CSS profile fees within ED2 deadline, I did ask for waiver code from NYU (international student here) but NYU said they are out of CSS waiver codes. So I thought even if I get accepted and NYU does not meet my need I won’t be able to attend, & rather NYU has many more qualified candidates than me they’d just reject me. So I asked them to change my admission plan to RD as CSS profile deadline is 20 February, which is doable for me.

Wierdly enough they replied to my email withing minutes and said they have processed my request.

Ahh NYU just keeps making me go delusional I know I’m not gonna get in :sob: :sob:

Same, Stern seems impossible because of all the Ivy rejects that now apply there now that I think about it

That sucks that they used all their css waivers. Don’t lose hope! ED2 is too competitive as well with the ivy rejects. Def wishing I just did ED1 now

I didn’t see any people using that as an indicator this ED1 round but I could be wrong

All the ED1 applicants who get into stern are usually so much more stacked too.
