Can individuals who got in share your stats as this can help future applicants in their aspirations to get into NYU, also it’s a great way to contribute to the community.
nooo don’t say that
I shared them earlier but it’s basically 4.0 for 3 years except 10th where I got a 2.3 because I had health issues. Lot of extracurriculars.
Didn’t have any “indicators”. Summer housing, no email, etc.
My DD had 36 SAT and 3.85/4.00 GPA. Her essays were very good and she chaired venture capital club in high school. She was also a cross country team captain. She worked as an intern of a well-known Wall Street firm as a high school student which was a very unique experience and accomplishment for her. She also applied to PENN but we will go to Stern. My income is not low so we were not expecting any scholarship but she got a very big merit scholarship. I believe Stern really liked her application.
Congratulations
Anyone got in NYU Shanghai?
My daughter got into Steinhardt! We are thrilled
I got into CAS, 1530 SAT, UW GPA 3.78 but weighted well over 4 with 11 APs. some pretty good leadership and ECs
Did anyone get into Clive Davis ED2?
1530
Got rejected lol
It’s over, you can apply only as transfer
There is definetely hope. I remember several people who got off the waitlist from last year’s forum thread. Make sure to follow the school’s instructions, and If they allow a letter of continued interest, write an amazing one. Best of luck to you!
We wish everyone here truly the best. May you all receive the wonderful news you are hoping for very soon!
hi! when do we get our financial aid packages?
Congrats! My son is applying RD and I’m hoping he gets in as well. His ACT was 35 (not super scored) so not as good as your daughter’s and his work experience was in manual labor. I tried to get him to take it the ACT again but swimming, working made it impossible.
Fingers crossed for him (admission) and me (scholarship $).
Why would you make him retake the ACT? 35 is more than enough.
35 is great, 36 really stands out. He was rejected at UPenn ED. I’m not sure a 36 would have made any difference but possibly.
Nope. 35 and 36 have no difference. After a 34 colleges could care less about the test score and more emphasis goes on the extracurriculars the student has and their transcript, LORs, essays, and everything else. With test-optional, 35 and 36 have no difference, and everyone has 34-36, so there’s not going to be a dramatic change (if any change at all) for getting that score.
Do you know when the virtual conversation with a NYUAD representative will be sent?
I was told nyu doesn’t interview candidates for admissions.
