Not to be discouraging but it could be that youâre international. They did not require an US SSN from you on Common App and that might be why it showed up here.

Itâs not hacking if the website is giving out the links and theyâre just following them wherever they are directed. Itâs on NYU for allowing this by providing that link anyway. There isnât any code being changed or manipulated.

Hacking isnât just about criminal intent. Itâs also attempting to gain access to something youâre not given explicit access to. No system is perfect, so you can always argue, but I personally wouldnt get into such a situation for a bit of thrill.
