<p>What are the different ways scholarships are awarded? Are there special names for scholarships that are only allowed to pay towards the school vs. those that go to the student? Namely, for UT Dallas, </p>
<p>“The scholarship includes a $5,000 per year cash stipend via a combination of UT Dallas’ Academic Excellence Scholarship funds”</p>
<p>Does anyone know of restrictions on this money? What exactly does a stipend constitute?
