Newhouse T/R/F Program

Hi,

I am looking to write for television (sitcoms, SNL, late night, etc.) and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the T/R/F program for screenwriting is at Newhouse. Obviously, the overall program has a great reputation but do they focus more on producing/directing than they do on writing?

i am a TRF major. Once you get through the mandatory courses (one of them being screenwriting), you can choose your electives according to what you want to do. you can go in three directions: director, producer, or writer. you can focus on whichever you want. hope that helps
