“Dear JE Students,
For those of you who did not make it to Commons this afternoon, here is a very short summary of what was announced by President Levin. The 11th Master of JE will be Richard Lalli, Adjunct Professor of Music, Department of Music (for a full resume, see [Yale</a> Department of Music > People > Faculty](<a href=“Welcome | Department of Music”>Welcome | Department of Music)) and the Associate Master will be his partner, Michael Rigsby, Medical Director (Physician) YUHS; Associate Clinical Professor, School of Nursing; Associate Professor Internal Medicine for AIDS. Both Richard and Michael are presently Fellows of the College and have participated in significant ways in that capacity, e.g., have served as freshman advisors.
Because of professional obligations, it would be convenient for them to begin their terms January 1, 2009, and so Sondra and I have agreed to see the College move back into our renovated space, i.e., we will move back to the Master’s House and continue as Master and Associate Master through December 31, 2008. Please join Sondra and myself in welcoming Richard and Michael more fully into the JE family.”</p>
