<p>I was recently featured in a surprisingly long news article in our local newspaper for my Girl Scout Gold Award project, which involved scanning and cataloging 3000+ slides onto a searchable database for our local historical society. A teacher at my school said that I should send this article in to my EA schools, as an update… what do you guys think? I value your opinions more. ;)</p>
<p>Eh, save it for supplemental material in the case you’re deferred. At this rate, it probably won’t even make it in time for selection committee.</p>
<p>Agree. You don’t want it getting lost in all the craziness right now. Send it with a nice cover letter after you know your semester grades, and include any other updates (i.e., other awards, etc.)</p>
<p>If you’re applying elsewhere with a 1/1 deadline, include it in your application package.</p>
