News on Thursday 4/3?

STILL no word in MD. I hope all this waiting is worth it.

Wow, this is strange…nothing like the way things were done last year. I really wonder if they’ve been re evaluating a certain # of applications for possible acceptance based on yield expectations. I wonder if there have been a certain number of acceptees who have already sent in their "will not attend"s that may be having an effect on thse decisions.
I feel for all of you, the uncertainty must be so difficult, and I wish the best for you.

I’m surprised you guys haven’t heard yet. Im in CT, acted on 4/1, and got my rejection today

good luck to you all!

I haven’t checked the mail for today since I’m still at school, but I expect a rejection. =/

Nothing yet in NorCal. My d is very upset that this has taken so long. She has a descion to make tomorrow in regards to an honor program at a state college. :(

You should call the school then. Ask them to e-mail you like they did with the internationals or have them tell you over the phone. I’m also having an issue because open house for my second choice is coming up. I also register for classes at that time. Housing is also an issue for me since I probably won’t get the dorm I want if I wait more.

No mail in Texas

Sequoia,
I do not think the problem is with students rejecting SC after admittance. Last year there were many more who accepted than they were expecting. Admitted students were cut dramatically this year as a result.
From the responses on SC message boards I feel it may be another record year for acceptance yield.

This is getting ridiculous. I still haven’t gotten an e-mail or mail either. This is a terrible feeling.
