Newspaper Question

Hi,

Say you took some admission exam and the prep school you went to made an ad about how their students got high scores, and there were 5 people including you on the ad. However, of those 5 people you scored the lowest. It’s a full page ad. Do you send that to the colleges?

Whether or not you got the highest score, I don’t think that colleges will care how you did on a prep school admission exam. What they will care about is how you did on your college boards, what your grades are in prep school, what your class rank is, and what your ECs are.

Oh no, it wasn’t admission to the prep school, it’s the prep school that helped me prepare for the admissions exam.

If you are referring to an exam like the SAT or ACT, I don’t think colleges will care about how your score is compared to those in your prep school class. They will care about what your score is and whether you were a NM Scholar, etc.

No, don’t send it.

Alright I guess I shouldn’t send it.
