Next year I will be taking the SATs but I’m worried about how they’ll be changing it. Should I be worried? I’ve already been studying for it by buying books and stuff but if anyone has any other ideas , feel free to comment?
If you are taking the new SAT you should prep with the new CB book that is coming out in June. You should also take a look at the new PSAT

I took a pre-published version of the new SAT as a apart of a research project and there is not much that you should worry about. They have removed the essay portion of the SAT and, in my opinion, used less intense vocabulary for the reading comprehension. It’s also out of 1600 instead of 2400. I happened to get a better score on the new version than I did when I took it for college admissions. You might also consider reading “Up Your Score” which was written by a few students who all got perfect scores - the book teaches you last minute tips and tricks for understanding the minds of the people who make the SAT.
Not exactly. They’ve replaced the current essay with an AP Lang-style rhetorical analysis essay and made it optional. (I still suspect the most selective colleges will require it, though.)
