NHS

I’m hoping someone can give me some insight as to why my school’s national honor society reflected me…

I am in science, math, English, and history honor society already. I have an overall weighted average of 102.99%.

I am in my schools marching band, concert band, I am on the crew team, and I am a highly active member of the key club and interact club.

All my friends who were accepted are less involved and have lower averages than me also. I know the committee of voters is a “secret” and is composed of teachers in my school. Is it possible they had a grudge against me or something? As far as I can remember none of my past teachers and I have been on bad terms… My dad wanted an explanation so he contacted my principle (because he is the head of my school’s chapter of NHS) and he basically ignored us.

Any insight?

*****rejected not reflected. My bad!

I have no idea, but all those activities will speak for themselves on college apps, without needing NHS to back them up. My insight would be to move on and not worry about it.

NHS is useless as far as college admissions are concerned.

I have no idea, but I wouldn’t give it too much thought. Your grades, ECs, standardized tests, recommendations & essays are what is impt. for your college application.
