<p>I currently in a dilemma on whether to join NHS (National Honors Society). Some of the colleges i would like to attend are Stanford, MIT, and Cornell. Do they care about NHS? Should I join NHS?</p>

<p>What’s wrong with joining? It’s pretty cool. It doesn’t matter very much to prestigious colleges but to some lower-tier one it does, besides, what’s wrong with joining it?</p>

<p>If you don’t have it, some schools might wonder why not. If you do have it, some schools offer merit aid.</p>

<p>^ I still remember seeing one school that automatically gave a $10,000 per year merit scholarship to NHS members…LoL</p>
