Nice letter from ER doc to patients husband

In a world of bad news and not enough emphasis on the good, I thought this was touching. I also liked some of the comments, especially the one about the vet. Having people care is always a heartwarming thing.

That’s a great story and the photos of others underneath the story were tremendous too. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting. It’s a good reminder that small kindnesses can have a huge impact.

Yes, when my dad died 15 years ago, a man came to the wake and wanted to pay his respects. He knew my father many years prior when he was new to school as a young boy, and students weren’t being particularly friendly. He told me your dad came up to me and said “You can sit at my lunch table” and then proceeded to play with me during recess. I will never forget him or his kindness.
My children always try to make their grandpa proud doing kind things but we all need to be reminded of the impact.

Debruns, that’s a nice post.

Thanks, I try to remember you don’t have to know if you made someone’s day, just that you tried. Maybe later or even after death, you’ll see.
