I’m an incoming freshman at Wes and we just got our housing assignments. My roommate and I are on the lower level of Nicolson (Nics 5.5 I believe it is called). I’ve heard these dorms are basically dungeons, is that true? Does anyone have any experience with these dorms? Any information helps! Thanks.
You’ll be fine. If it’s the hall I’m thinking of, it actually consists of some fairly new construction, the result of building out what was formerly an exterior space. It’s “dungeon” reputation comes from the fact that instead of the usual double row of rooms lining the hall, it’s a single row of rooms facing a solid stone wall. Con: Not for the claustrophobic. Pros: Smaller floor; less people sharing the bathroom.
