According to my alumnae magazine, Chatham Hall is introducing up to ten new scholarships this year under the Nilsen Scholars Program thanks to a $31 million gift from Elizabeth Beckwith Nilsen '31.

Nilsen Scholars will be awarded scholarships based on academic and personal merit. There is a link to a PDF of the brochure here: [Costs | Chatham Hall](http://www.chathamhall.org/admissions/financial_aid.html#scholarship)

According to the alumnae mag, they’ve added an additional 9 scholarships in recent years besides the Nilsen Scholars Program, taking advantage of the fact that they now have the largest endowment per student of any girls school. And around 50% of their students received financial aid last year.

Thought some CCers might be interested, especially given the current economic climate! I went to Chatham on a scholarship back in the 90’s and just loved the experience.
