NMF scholarship and Study Abroad program

D plans to Study Abroad on her Junior year, does anybody have any information on this that you can share? What happens to the NMF Scholarship?

Great question! my s also plans on studying abroad. I would think that as long as they go through a school sponsored program and take classes approved by USC, the scholarship should still be in good standing. again, just my thoughts

You’ll have to check with the individual school, but usually the financial aid package is just applied to the cost of any school-approved study abroad program.

Be aware though, if the international study costs more than study at the home campus, they probably won’t give you more financial aid to cover the increase. That will have to come out of your pocket.

Thanks worried_mom. I will check with the school to make sure. Good point about the extra cost
