@SwimJock32, my S was a NMSF/F last year. You will not get an email from NMSC. Your school needs to log into the NMSC site in order to print letters with login credentials to give to the students. By the way, it’s still early in the game. It took me until 9/21 last year to convince the GC that she had to give us the info. (I tried to nail down the process with her earlier in the year, but she was not convinced that my S would be a semifinalist even though he had an SI of 228. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ ) Also in case anyone is wondering, the letter was dated 8/23/16, was addressed to my son, and said that except for the principal and family the information was confidential until 9/14/16 – so students are definitely allowed to know.

@letsgomath, it looks like there is a report of a 222 making it in MA, but we don’t know if that’s the cutoff or if it could be lower.

@suzy100 Based on what I’ve seen, and the DMs I’ve gotten, I’m fairly sure MA is 222. It’s not confirmed, but very likely. I’ll keep everyone updated if that changes.
