This is painful. We received, last week in snail mail and today via email an invite to the open house for the school my daughter applied to (computer) on April 8th. She still hasn’t been officially admitted (or rejected) and now flights are too expensive to attend this special day, anyway.

I asked her to email the specific school and the admissions department so I guess we’ll see if either replies.

Rachel

Still waiting! Anyone else!?

Has she been able to check using the Campus Connect site for Depaul? We found that the online notification was posted at least a week before receiving the letter, perhaps more. It does not show up when you first log on, it’s in one of the folders on the left side of the screen. I believe it says “For Admitted Students” or something similar.

Thanks - she has been checking her campus connect daily which hasn’t changed from ‘for applied students’. It’s very frustrating particularly since weeks ago someone in financial aid said she was in and then the admissions office said financial aid doesn’t have the right to say that and that her application was still with the admissions committee.

An email addressed to her specific admissions counselor has gone unanswered.

As the mom - I find the while thing outrageously rude and has moved DePaul out of the top spot for my daughter.

I emailed and finally got a reply that she was waitlisted. So glad she prefers RIT
