no advanced classes

My school doesn’t offer AP classes, and we get a total of 2 honors classes per year (both of which I’m taking). Oh and in case you’re wondering, I’m international and attending a private school.

Will this hurt me? I suppose I can take online classes, but I’m not really the “virtual learning” kind of person…

It will not hurt you. Along with your transcript, colleges receive a profile of the school that includes how many advanced classes there are and their policy on advanced classes. Admissions offices will look to see if you’ve taken advantage of what’s given. Summer school for advancement or community college classes are also options. :)
