No Announcement about Number of ED Applicants?

<p>it seems that most of the early admission schools have released statistics regarding the number of applicants.</p>

<p>How come the admissions office at Columbia has not announced any numbers? Does it usually do so after official decisions are sent out?</p>

<p>With all of the publicity the university has received over the last year (Obama, Ahmadinejad, GFP Nobel winner) I’m definitely feeling a bit anxious since it’s more likely that we’re going to see a jump in numbers this year…</p>

<p>It seems that there are only certain school attracting more applicants, though. Which could mean that certain colleges are receiving significantly fewer apps, which they would definitely not want to publicize. Is it possible that Columbia could be one of these schools? It’s probably just wishful thinking, and Columbia also saw an jump in applicant rates…perhaps its proximity to Wall Street isn’t doing it any favors this year?</p>
