No Arabic or Mandarin offerred???

I want to study either Arabic or Mandarin while at NYU Stern for the next four years, and I can’t seem to find for sure that they are offerred. Anyone know?

Perhaps I was a bit hasty… If I shocked someone by accident, they do offer Arabic:

[NYU >> MEIS >> Programs >> Arabic](http://www.nyu.edu/gsas/dept/mideast/Programs/arabic.html)

Still looking for Mandarin page…

Chinese is taught in Mandarin (a dialect). Chinese if offered, fo sho’

Cantonese also. Scroll to bottom of page.

[NYU > Asian/Pacific/American Studies > Course Offerings](<a href=“Asian/Pacific/American Studies”>Asian/Pacific/American Studies)

Yep, Arabic is definitely offered…the first four semesters are through Intermediate II, and then if you pass Intermediate II with at least a B, you can go on to Advanced Arabic I and II, which are actually graduate courses. I’m double majoring in MEIS starting in the fall :-).

Here is a list of languages you can take if you go to NYU.

Thanks a lot to everyone!
