Ok so whenever I talk to guys with stepsisters I am always like ‘would you?’ and they’re always like ‘dude…’ and I’m always like ‘no [shared] blood no foul man’ and then they always change the subject quickly. So I am wondering what is the etiquette for relations with your stepsibling. Surely it’s not incest so why does everyone get so offended?

Propa’ perplexing

It probably all depends on when the sibling relationship began… if the two kids grew up together, than it would probably be a form of psychological incest, but if the parents were married when the children were already adults, and the children didn’t really know eachother until their parents got married, and decided they liked eachother romantically and had no growing up as siblings past, then no biggie.

why?..are you sure it’s not considered incest? step sister having sex with step brother . . you’re positive there’s no rule against that? it sounds so . . I want to change the subject too now. Haha. Even though I don’t have any step siblings, personally. The thought makes me cringe for some reason . .

sarorah… come on… think about it… your 26, your mom and dad get divorced… your dad meets a woman who has a 26 year old child…maybe even through you knowing her child… your dad decides to marry this woman, and you and her child have your own little romance going on… is that all that bad, gross, whatever?

it’s like that brady bunch movie…or whatever…when the oldest blonde sister and the oldest bro like hookup…hahaha…how lame

this problem was answered in Cruel Intentions.
