No Class Rank?

<p>If my school doesn’t formally publish class ranks, but I know I am in the top 5% due to an award given to those in that bracket, what should I put on the common app? Does no class rank look bad on the application? </p>

<p>Also, are you allowed to change your essay at all after you submit the common app to one school? I want to do a rolling school before the early deadline comes, but does that mean I have to come up with my complete, final essay by the time I submit the application for rolling? Or can I change up my essay if I revise it, even after already submitting an app.</p>

<p>You will be able to create different versions of your app to send to different schools once you have submitted your first application. Look in the instructions section of the common app for advice on how to do this. No class rank is not bad and if it is not reported by your school you do not report it.</p>
