No clubs in HS, re: getting in/chances

I’m a junior and I’ve never been in a club. Clubs, in my opinion, are an absolute joke, especially at my school. In pretty much every single club at my school, everyone says that while ‘we don’t really do anything but go to 30 minute meetings every now and then’, it ‘looks really good for colleges.’ My precious critical thinking skills tell me that if all the students know clubs don’t do anything, it’s highly, highly likely that admissions officers know this fact too.

But does having zero clubs on my resume make me look bad? If I do well over 100 hours of independent volunteering (i.e. not required for graduation/anything else), will that make up for not bothering to do any clubs?
With this in mind, do I have a good shot at GT?

SAT: Haven’t taken it officially yet, but I’m anticipating about a 2300 ± 30 points. I expect my breakdowns to be something like:
780-800 CR
710-760 M
750-800 W

PSAT: Took it this Wednesday, absolutely sure I got commended at least, pretty sure I’ll make it to Semifinalist and further, Idk if NMSF means anything to Tech.

AP Classes (all other classes were honors, except math frosh and soph years, but I went to advanced junior year):
Through Junior year: AP Human, APUSH, AP Lang, AP Chem, AP World
Senior year AP’s: English Lit, Calc BC, Physics, Econ, Gov

GPA through Junior Year (on GA Tech’s scale; I’m assuming all A’s rest of 11th grade): 3.875, but with an upward trend, all but 1 of my B’s came frosh year (one came in an academic elective soph year)

EC’s:
Baseball 2 years, some political volunteering (nothing major), 100+ hours community service volunteering
So do I need to worry about my lack of clubs or am I pretty much good?

Amen, I think clubs are absolutely pointless haha. However, do you have any extracuriculars outside of school? Music, sports, community service, internships etc.?

^ Yes, community service and some sports.

You’ll be fine. D1 had no clubs either. She had sports, volunteering, job, but no clubs. Not only did she get in, but Tech gave her a nice scholarship as well. She’s a junior now.
