No credit for a 4 in AP Physics

My daughter just received a 4 in AP Physics B. Uconn states that anyone receiving a 4 on any AP Physics exam has to contact the department to see if credit will be allowed. Does anyone have any experience on this? My guess is that they want Physics or Engineering majors (for example) to have a 5 or retake the class since they’ll need to build on the material. My daughter is planning a double major in biology and anthropology so I’m hoping she’ll get the credits - she worked so hard this year and was so happy with the 4!

thats ok
MIT grants credits only for 5’s on Physics C
i think upenn is similar along those lines too, 4’s are given no credit whatsoever…lol
too bad eh

Just contact the department and see if they allow 4’s for credit. You may also want to ask this question in the UConn forum for more specific help. Good luck.
