<p>What if the parent has no W-2 or documented income. So far all the documented income is in the form of SSI & child support ( not court ordered ).</p>

<p>SSI is no longer calculated into the EFC, so you do not have to report that income.</p>

<p>i don’t know about non-court ordered child support though.</p>

<p>perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me (any financial aid counselors out there?) will answer that part of your question shortly…</p>

<p>UNTAXED SSI is not reported for FAFSA. Child support is reported under untaxed income, which is question 92, after other parent income and asset info. It does not matter whether the support is court-ordered or not.</p>
