No Financial aid offered for Penn State and GW's Programs?

Hey I was looking up information for penn state’s and George Washington University’s BA/MD programs and i noticed something about the two…

first Penn state’s says that you pay the labelled price
Cost:
“Students in the cooperative program study at two separate institutions. While attending Penn State, students are charged at the regular University rate. While attending Jefferson Medical College, students are charged at the regular Jefferson Medical College rate. Because students enrolled in the cooperative program only complete two years of undergraduate study at Penn State, they are not eligible for tiution scholarships from the Schreyer Honors College or Braddock Scholarships from the Eberly College of Science.”

and on GW’s website i think it said fixed-rate for students for 7 year program… what do they mean by that?

It means you’re going to be coughing up a huge mouthful of bling bling.

Yes, Penn State will not give you financial aid (because you’re saving 2 years worth of tuition. Luckily Penn State is “only” about $35 000 per year for out of state students, so it’s cheaper than some other places)

I’m guesing what GW means by “fixed rate” is that you aren’t subject to tuition increases each year. I’m not entirely sure though, as I haven’t read up on GW’s policies.

yikes that’s still a ton of $ for not a great college… i think i’ll pass

what about GW?
